ANALYST INSIGHT
|
|||||||
Not only do I think the 49ers are going to win, but I’m not even sure
the Falcons can keep it close…the Falcons have struggled against running
quarterbacks…I look for SF QB Kaepernick to have another big game as the
49ers roll – M.D. SMITH
Though the Falcons pulled out a stirring win over Seattle, the
victory came in the wake of a historic defensive collapse. It’ll be a
lot harder not to collapse earlier when facing SF QB Kaepernick, who is a
shade better than Russell Wilson — and who has more to work with on both
sides of the ball than the Seahawks rookie – M. FLORIO
San Francisco's weakness is being spread out and facing an up-tempo
passing game…ATL QB Ryan will do his best, but as GB QB Aaron Rodgers'
Packers, NE QB Brady's Patriots and others have found out, it keeps getting
harder to keep up with SF QB Kaepernick – V. IYER
Give ATL QB Matty Ice some time and he’ll beat you. He does it time
and time again in the Georgia Dome – R. THE HANDLE

FINAL PREDICTION
|
|||||||
SF
|
SU
|
vs
SPR
|
ATL (+4.5)
|
||||
The inability of the Falcons defence to prevent the rush will be
the reason they lose out on a trip to Super Bowl XLVII in Louisiana this
year. ATL QB Matt Ryan has been historically adept at picking apart opponents
that dare challenge his Dirty Bird club when visiting the Georgia Dome. That
said, the Falcons are in over their heads in this matchup, youngster QB or
not at the helm of their opponent. SF has demonstrated throughout the 2012-13
Regular & Post Season their steadfast defensive unit is one of the best
entities in all of football and their offensive attack is not far behind with
the exuberant and ever elusive Colin Kaepernick at QB. ATL is sure to put on
a show this coming Sunday afternoon. However, a show and a win are two
different things altogether and the Niners are sure to demonstrate as such by
4th quarter’s end in this matchup.
