ANALYST INSIGHT
|
|||||||
Unfortunately for Baltimore, the Patriots’ defense is playing better
now than it was early in the regular season, and that’s going to be the
difference this time…NE QB Tom Brady will
have another big performance against the Ravens’ secondary. The Patriots are
headed back to the Super Bowl – M.D. SMITH
Much of the playoff attention on Baltimore has been on the impending
retirement of Ray Lewis. But it's been a whole lot of other players, led by
BAL QB Flacco and RB Rice, paving the way for their surprising run. They have
at least one more upset in them – V. IYER
The Ravens are hurting on defence, traveling for the third time in
four weeks while having exerted a maximum effort in last Sunday’s effort
overtime win over DEN…there is just too much firepower provided from NE QB
Brady and the Hoodie to be denied another trip to football’s biggest stage –

BAL (+8.5)
|
||||
The legend of NE QB Tom Brady with grow ever greater will a
victory over the Baltimore Ravens this coming Sunday evening in Foxborough,
Massachusetts. The Pats will take a beating from the Ravens in this matchup,
no doubt. With their secondary all but shredded every time they take the
field, the hand of QB Brady has been forced time and time again this season
to score at will with what spare parts he is allotted, be it castaway WR
Brandon Lloyd, Post Season bumbler WR Wes Welker and/or one of his collection
of talented yet oft-injured TEs. Then again, this unit continually exceeded
expectations this past Regular Season and continue to do so into the
playoffs. Averaging the most points of any NFL offensive unit in 2012-13,
don’t expect this BAL club to extend their late game heroics for a second
week in a row here for, as much as the Ravens have soared of late, their
opponent’s scoring prowess is far greater, far more experienced and far less
likely to falter under the pressure of such heavy spotlight. NE will win here
without a doubt.
