DIVISIONAL 1
STRAIGHT UP
vs SPREAD
KC v NE
NE
KC +4.5
“THE LAST PLAY”
The Pats are near a virtual lock when playing in Foxborough and this weekend’s Divisional Championship game vs the Chiefs should bear no dissimilar outcome as the stout run defence of NE will put heavy pressure on KC QB Smith to toss the pigskin, something the veteran ship helm can do accurately but far from proficiently. The Chiefs sport a tight run defence themselves, however, their pass defence is middling at best and, with a somewhat-healthy TE Gronkowski in the lineup for the Chowderheads, the home club is the likeliest to advance this weekend in Boston, MA.

DIVISIONAL 2
STRAIGHT UP
vs SPREAD
GB v ARI
ARI
GB +7.0
“THE LAST PLAY”
Aaron Rodgers is, indisputably, an elite quarterback and is destined for the halls of Canton, OH, which makes it all the more confusing that his team ranked one of the worst in the league in pass offence this Regular Season and why the Packers will most-definitely come-up-short this SATNF in land of State-approved Racial profiling. The Cards hold all, well, the cards in this matchup, save a QB with playoff-success. Nonetheless, so long as ARI tosser Carson Palmer plays simple checkdown football whilst handing off every once in a while to RB Johnson for good measure, backers of the Birds to win this weekend will be holding all the cheddar.

DIVISIONAL 3
STRAIGHT UP
vs SPREAD
SEA v CAR
SEA
SEA +2.5
“THE LAST PLAY”
In what should be a hard-to-handicap ballgame, the end result of this contest is actually quite clearer than what the betting public may be willing to admit. The Panthers are a young team on the ascent, one that boasts an experienced QB that is not only growing finer with age but is also backed by a collective of talent whose names may not ring bells but whose hits/clutch offensive-execution sure do. That said, SEA is a team-possessed, a club that has tasted Big Show victory and never grown tired of its sweetness. With the #1 ranked defence vs both the pass AND run in their back pocket for this contest, the best team outright wins here – and that’s the one with a Super Bowl ring to their name.

DIVISIONAL 4
STRAIGHT UP
vs SPREAD
PIT v DEN
DEN
DEN -8.0
“THE LAST PLAY”
Dramatic injuries to crucial offensive talent has PIT a good bet to lose this weekend in the Mile High State. In fact, the situation appears so grim for Mike Tomlin & his bunch that even smart money longshot PIT upsets vs the failing arm of DEN QB Manning are being rebuffed by the betting public. It’s true that PIT has a few good years still left in them, maybe even another Super Bowl ring if they play their cards right. However, the rabbit hole of a road game, played in thin air icy temps, minus your breakout RB & WR & your QB bearing an injury to his throwing arm, is likely not the path to Playoff prosperity.
