CONFERENCE 1
STRAIGHT UP
vs SPREAD
NE v DEN
NE
DEN +3.5
“THE LAST PLAY”
The Pats will have their work cut-out for them on the road against DEN this weekend as the Broncos were handily one of the best defensive clubs in the league all year and were not known to surrender points to an opponent without some inflicted wear-and-tear to go with it. That being said, for all their bone-shattering tackles amassed, the Broncos will not silence the offensive of sacred duo Brady/Belicheck forever and, in spite of all their crafty audibles, DEN signal caller QB Peyton Manning (a man who heroically refuses to quit a game that is slowly stealing his livelihood) simply can no longer sling a toss more than 20 yards. The Pats will need to be patient and work diligently for points in this contest. However, with the game on the line in the final minutes of this matchup, make no mistake the end result will be one of familiarity – Brady beats Manning.

STRAIGHT UP

“THE LAST PLAY”
One would be hard pressed to find a better clash of NFL talent than the one primed for our collective viewing this Sunday evening live from Raleigh, N.C. With two #1 overall draft pick, MVP candidate signal callers set to do to battle for a ticket to the Super Bowl, expect a heaping helping of heady hits & heroic plays from both sides in this matchup as neither club holds a particular advantage over the other. Starring pass defensives assured to be shredded (ARI & CAR were the only clubs in the league this past season to average 30+ pts per contest) and run offensives destined to be stunted (ARI & CAR both ranked in top-5 in the league this past season in run defence), excitement will be paramount, heartbreak will be inevitable and, if dabbing is your go-to-dance move, prep your neck for a-noddin’ as, often per the way of nature, the Cat gets the Bird.
