For all their underwhelming play this season, the Eagles still
rank respectively in near all statistical categories. It’s the turnovers and
failure to quell game-winning drives that have done in Philadelphia in
2012-13 campaign, issues that often afflict younger teams such as the
Carolina Panthers rather than seasoned squads like the Eagles. Be that as it
may, PHI is more than likely to achieve seven straight losses this MNF when
the Cats play a visit to Lincoln Financial Field, QB Michael Vick in the lineup
or not. With their schedule about to get significantly more difficult in the
weeks to come, this is a game the Eagles are likely to focus upon as a gimmie
win. However, this will be anything but a gimmie game for PHI and may just prove
the stepping stone for the return of CAR QB Cam Newton to his rookie season
glory days.
