A
rivalry is beginning to brew between these two titans of the midway and, with
another shot at a Super Bowl title reliant on the outcome of this showdown,
expect some bad blood to be spilled this Sunday in Washington State. The
running ability of SEA RB Lynch is sure to give the traveling Pack fits all
game in this matchup, especially with rain in the forecast. However, GBay
boasts a particularly talented runner upfront themselves in RB Lacy and their
receiving corp should surely strike uncertainty in the hearts of the ‘Hawks
secondary (though, with as swelled as SEA CB Sherman’s head is at the moment,
I’m uncertain if he were speeding towards a brick wall if he’d flinch a
muscle). Seattle dismantled the Packers on the West Coast in Game 1 of the
2014-15 NFL Regular Season. Expect some payback here in the form of a
well-balanced offensive attack orchestrated by the league’s (at-the-moment)
most talented QB in conjunction with some stringent defence, particularly vs
the run where GBay failed to surrender more than an average of 88 yds per
game to any RB in the second half of their Regular Season campaign. No need
to double check – GBay wins on the road here.

The
Pats put a hurting on IND QB Luck & Co. earlier this season when they visited
Lucas Oil Stadium, holding the home side Colts to a combined 19 yds total
yards rushing (15 of which were gained by Colts QB Luck himself) and winning
by a margin of 22-pts. The Colts tightened some screws with regards to the
rush since that encounter, limiting underachieving RB Richardson’s carries
and, quite possibly, uncovering a starting rusher for their coming 2015-16
campaign in RB Herron. However, NE at home in the playoffs with the possibility
of a final bid for a Super Bowl on the line for arguably the NFL’s greatest
player-coach tandem (Brady & Belichick) is a hard pill to swallow for any
traveling team, even one that boasted the top-ranked passing offence in the
league. Play the odds, play history, play experience, play the Pats.
