ANALYST INSIGHT
|
|||||||
The
Bengals allowed one to slip away to Dallas last week but with a playoff berth
on the line I don’t expect that to happen again – R. THE HANDLE
A.J. Green should blow through Philadelphia's
secondary for some big plays. –V. IYER
Bengals DT Geno Atkins
will lead a defense that will make life miserable for PHI QB Nick Foles –

FINAL PREDICTION

CIN (-3.5)
|
||||
The Eagles surprise road victory over TBay last week has fixed
this line well below market value. PHI QB Foles finally looked the part of
starter when he squared off vs the Bucs NFL lowest-rated pass defence in week
14. That said, the Eagles run attack, spearheaded by rookie sensation RB
Bryce Brown, was effectively shut down vs TBs top-ranked rush defence and
that seems much more indicative of what’s in store for PHI this coming TNF
than the latter. Nasty ‘Nati is currently outputting some of the strongest
offensive & defensive numbers in the NFL and is mired in a full-fledged
push for the final playoff spot in the AFC. The potential for PHI to compete
in coming seasons is presenting itself through their young squad as the weeks
wear on. Nevertheless, their time is still not here and that fact will be
resoundingly evident this Thursday evening vs a surging Bengals team.
